As a psychologist, my goal is to create a trusting and safe space where clients and I collaborate to overcome challenges and improve their quality of life. I enjoy working with adults and adolescents 15 years of age or older who are struggling with anxiety, depression, low energy and motivation, or difficulty coping with life stressors. I also specialize in the treatment of eating disorders, disordered eating, and the burden of negative body image.

Another area of my practice is sports performance, which involves supporting athletes, coaches, parents, and others involved in sport. My work includes helping athletes optimize performance and navigate mental health challenges, supporting parents of competitive and high-performance athletes, and assisting coaches who may be experiencing stress, burnout, or other occupational challenges. I also partner with sport organizations to provide workshops and presentations on mental performance, resilience, and mental health for athletes, parents, and coaches.

Grounded in a strong therapeutic relationship, the therapy I provide typically involves cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) techniques and complementary tools that are individualized to your particular needs and goals. For example, our work may involve developing awareness of the relationships between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviours, and how these experiences may be blocking you from achieving a satisfying and meaningful life. We might also work on specific behavioural changes or developing more adaptive ways of perceiving and responding to challenging situations, to help you achieve the progress and growth you are looking for.

Finally, I’m passionate about working with clients from a variety of backgrounds and lived experiences, and learning from them about how to shape therapy approaches to meet their needs within their context. To do this, I recognize the privilege and responsibility I hold in therapeutic spaces as a white clinician. I am committed to striving for culturally responsive care grounded in humility, reflection, allyship, and continual learning about how systems of oppression impact mental health.

I completed my PhD in clinical psychology at Toronto Metropolitan University and provide services at the Mindful Living Centre, offering in-person and virtual services in the Oakville clinic. If you would like to connect to learn more about how I can help, please reach out by phone or email to set up an initial consult. I’m looking forward to speaking with you!
