Do you find yourself caught in difficult thoughts about yourself, struggling with how you feel about your body, or carrying experiences from the past that continue to affect how you feel and respond today? Perhaps anger, self-criticism, relationship difficulties, or painful experiences are getting in the way of feeling more like yourself.

I work with adolescents and adults to better understand these patterns, develop healthier ways of responding to difficult thoughts and emotions, and move toward greater self-acceptance and well-being. I also have a passion for working with couples experiencing relationship challenges and wanting to strengthen their connection.

I am a Pre-Doctoral Resident in Counselling Psychology who works in the Oakville, Burlington and Milton offices, as well as offering virtual sessions.

My style is calm, compassionate, and collaborative. I strive to create a comfortable, non-judgmental space where you can feel understood while we work together toward the changes that matter to you. Therapy is tailored to your individual needs, goals, background, and comfort level.

I primarily draw from research-supported approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), and compassion-focused approaches. Together, we can identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, build practical strategies for navigating difficult emotions and experiences, and develop a more compassionate relationship with yourself.

As an Indigenous clinician, I also recognize the importance of culture, identity, community, and lived experience in psychological well-being. When meaningful to clients, I draw upon my experience working with Indigenous individuals and integrating Indigenous perspectives with Western approaches to psychological care.

Before joining the Mindful Living Centre, I worked in sexual assault centres in Alberta and British Columbia, supporting adolescents and adults affected by trauma. My clinical experience also includes working with individuals involved with the court system and contributing to assessments related to adult ADHD.

I am completing my Ph.D. in Counselling Psychology and am currently a Pre-Doctoral Resident. I am also a Certified Canadian Counsellor and a member of the Eating Disorders Association of Canada.
